Gecko Tribe Customer Blog Network

You have SEO Content Factory if you've purchased any of the following:
  • SEO Content Factory
  • The RSS Super Pack
  • CaRP Evolution version 4 (before the core script became free)
  • CaRP's MySQL plugin, Lobster, and Lobster's Atom Publishing Protocol plugin

The Gecko Tribe Customer Blog Network is a blog network/directory exclusively for owners of SEO Content Factory (see box to the right). Anyone can view the directory, but only SEO Content Factory owners can list their blogs.

"What Will This Network Do For Me?"

  • Find good blogs to follow for inspiration (blogs in the network are member-rated, so the best will rise to the top).
  • Expose your blog to people who are looking for blogs to subscribe to for inspiration, who'll blog about and link to your posts.
  • Build relationships with other bloggers by blogging about and linking to their blogs on a regular basis.
  • If your blog is rated highly by other members, you'll get extra exposure by having it aggregated into a "top blogs" RSS feeds for each tag.

"What WON'T This Network Do For Me?"

  • The network is not accessible to search engines, so you won't get any SEO value simply by listing your blogs. If your blogs are good, you'll get SEO value when other members blog about and link to your blogs.
  • The network won't convince people to read, blog about, or link to a junky spam blog, so there's no benefit to submitting those types of blogs. Submit your real blogs that you post good quality, original content to.

"What Do I Have To Do?"

You don't have to do anything :-), but I recommend that you:

  1. Submit your blogs.
  2. Check for good blogs that share the same tags as yours and subscribe to them in SEO Content Factory.
  3. Click the smiley or frowny faces on the blog pages to vote the best and worst up and down (feel free to leave the average ones on the neutral face -- no need to vote on each one).
  4. Subscribe to the "top blogs" feeds for your tags (this will help you find more good blogs without having to check back to see who's getting voted up to the top all the time).
  5. When you see posts that you've got something to add to, use SEO Content Factory to post about them on your blog.
  6. As you build a relationships with the bloggers you're subscribed to and are blogging about, contact them and explore other ways of working together and promoting each other.

You'll notice that I haven't said anything about giving anyone else access to post on or automatically inject content into your blog (although guest posting and accepting guest posts can be valuable), or in any other way giving up control of your own site to the network -- that's not what this network is about.
